A North American Tradition - Monarch Butterfly Migration
My digital story tells about the amazing migration of the Monarch Butterfly. It is a North American tradition that begins in Mexico or Southern California and touches almost every part of the U.S. It has been a "tradition" for over ten thousand years when butterflies who originated in Mexico started to look for more food.

Nice job! It is a great topic as Monarchs are found everywhere. Children love butterflies and this digital story can be used for science as well as to develop listening comprehension. Its a story that depicts one of the many migrational journeys that takes place here in the U.S. This story is great for making kids more aware of the nature around them.
This was a really informative Digital Story, and I learned a lot.
Your narration was clear and concise, and I liked your use of images.
Interesting that I also mentioned milkweeds in my story, and I had never heard of them until this project.
Great job.
That was a great story and a great job putting it together. I really enjoyed it!! Is it OK to give the link to my boss, Science Chair to look at? He might want to post it on the science teachers shared folder on the district network. I loved the way you opened and closed the story also. Great job again!
