Rituals and Technology
I see the drum as a tool that is manufactured and used for the specific purpose of inducing trance or possession in the believers in rituals in many places across the planet. To shorten a long story, I made this itsy bitsy video.

This is an interesting aspect of culture that you've shared. Some of the words go a little quickly which gives reason to watch several times. The repitition helps with the understanding. Thank you for sharing this bit of who you are with us.
Thank you for sharing that interesting part of the Haitian culture. I love learning about rituals because they have such deep meaning and history.
This was interesting.. I found it a bit confusing at first, but I got it after the second drum.
