My Italian-American Family

Our assignment was to share a cultural aspect of our life. I am an Italian-American and have many traditions during Christmas time that I wanted to share. There are so many cultures within America and I believe it is important to learn about as many as you can. Enjoy!

Your narrative was fantastic! It certainly was well-designed for our viewers in Mexico. I like how it was spoken clearly and slowly, increasing the level of understanding by all. Well done!

As a man married to the same Sicilian Princess (Annette), for 26 years, I am very knowledgeable, well trained, and equipped to handle the Italian American Christmas Holiday you so well depicted. As a youngster, I can remember our gatherings at my grandmothers house (Anna) in BayRidge in Brooklyn. Had I not received my early preparation for this gathering, I might have been scared off at the first holiday gathering I spent with my wife's extended family. Anna was a fun and amazing woman!! Unfortunately, these gatherings in BayRidge never ended without tears about something and my grandmother sweeping behind them with her broom as they left.

I enjoyed your digital story. People of all ages will also enjoy it. The questions you asked were well placed and added to the story. Your transitions, moving from picture to picture, made me very comfortable while I was watching it. I give your production four cannoli. Buon Natale!

Nicole,

Excellent story. I like the way you asked questions about what the students were hearing. What a great story to share with the students from Mexico.

Well done Nicole the narration was done in a way that allowed the listener to hear what you were saying. You also places the text on the slides which was good.
